The Old Border is a marine-themed boutique hotel, that opened its doors in 2017. It offers 12 double rooms with double beds – 1.60 x 2 m (upon the guest’s request an extra bed can be brought in – 0.80×1.90 m), air conditioning, en suite bathroom, mini-fridge, Tv cable, free Internet, coffee/tea/fruit on the house.

Children up to 6 years old are accommodated free of charge in the room with parents if an extra bed is not requested.
For children between 7-18 years old, a folding bed is placed in the room with the parents at an additional cost of 100 Ron / night.

To fit in with the maritime, unconventional and free atmosphere of our special location, rooms from The Old Border were designed around the idea of a vessel. The small details, fresh colors and relaxing air, together with the sound of waves, make you daydream about courageous explorers who proved that the impossible can become possible with imagination and courage.

Each room is named after a famous seaman, who crossed through frontiers, destroyed myths and created the image we have of the world today.

This is how we tried to keep some of the adventurous spirit which, we hope, will determine you to make your own adventures and to cross the border of the daily humdrum for a vacation worthy of personal legends.
